[1] Sir Henry Coward (1849 – 1944) was a British conductor. He was a renown singing teacher and choral conductor, especially known for the huge choirs he could manage.

[2] Pelmanism is the system of scientifically training the mind credited to William Joseph Ennever. It was a system of brain training which was popular in the United Kingdom during the first half of the twentieth century.
