1916 – March Footnotes

[1] Teddy Berry (Edward Reoch Berry 1906 – 1988) – is my grandfather. He married Eva. In 1916, he was 10 years old and Eva was 7!

[2] Sir Ernest Albert Waterlow, RA ROI (1850 – 1919) was a British painter who produced a considerable number of admirable landscapes, in oil and watercolour, handled with grace and distinction. He lived in Hampstead.
